Robert Half Technology is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a growing company in the downtown New Orleans, LA area to maintain and manage the organization's Network infrastructure. Installs, maintains, and evaluates network systems and be the go - to for complex network issues. The ideal fit will have at least 8 years working in an enterprise environment with Internet, computer, routers, switches and firewalls. The Network Engineer will be responsible for all of the LAN/WAN network and voice systems including planning, design and maintenance of corporate data systems and creation of and assuring adherence to network procedures. Skills and Experience:Palo Alto, Checkpoint, CCISP and/or other security related Certifications preferred Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Experience with VOIP; CCMHigh level of expertise in VPN, Intranet/Extranets, LANs, and WANs, routing (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, BGP)Understanding of traditional POTS Lines, PRI, and SIP technologies Strong background with VPN technologies: Palo Alto and Cisco preferredExperience with Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki Switches, FirewallsExperience installing and maintaining Wireless solutions, multilayer switches and routers If this sounds like a fit and you would like to learn more please apply online today!
