This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and helping us achieve our organizational goals.Position Summary: The Full Charge Accountant/Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and detail. This position can be adapted to full-time or part-time based on the candidate's preferences.Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: - Oversee the daily operations of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies.- Budgeting and Forecasting: - Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts. - Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide analysis and recommendations for improvements.- Tax Compliance: - Coordinate with outside CPAs for income tax preparation. - Maintain accurate financial records and document processes.- Cash Flow Management: - Manage cash flow forecasts and report discrepancies. - Develop strategies to optimize cash management.- Process Improvement: - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. - Utilize accounting software and technologies to streamline operations.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).- Minimum of Five years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated experience in a full charge accountant or controller role.- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis.- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Flexible work schedule (full-time or part-time options).- Opportunities for professional growth and development including managing one of the operating services.- A supportive and positive work environment.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience to [email address or application link].
