Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works independently & regularly on standard rotating equipment packages
Troubleshoots problems & resolves errors with assistance
Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and schematics for various pumps, controls, etc.
Requires no supervision
Inspect parts/components and determine if they are re-workable or reusable
Prepares reports as necessary for service inspections, repairs, etc.
Can Successfully complete initial training period
Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and schematics for various pumps, controls, etc.
Runs engine lathe or turret mill as needed
Disassembles (i.e. tear down), inspects, cleans, repairs, reassembles, and test equipment with assistance
Pick up and deliver equipment to customer locations as necessary
Utilizes measurement/ test equipment as necessary
Ensures that the work and components used in service comply with manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
High school education, or equivalent required
Associate degree/certification in mechanics, or equivalent years of experience preferred
General knowledge of PC and ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Ability to use precision equipment (dial indicators, mics, calipers).
Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings, exploded view drawings, and cut section drawings.
Experience using Hoist and Cranes
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to use shop equipment (Drill Press, Pneumatic Hand Tools, Horizontal Bandsaw, cutting torch)
Bonus Qualifications:
Ability to work on electrical components
Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Systems and Programs
Ability to run an engine lathe or turret mill
