We are an innovative team that works on both Kiewit projects and with other general contractors across all our markets.LocationThis role will be based out of Covington LAResponsibilities Identify and evaluate project specifications and drawings for dredge projects Prepare schedules, quantity takeoffs, project cost sheets Prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost sheets Accept, review, and analyze subcontractor quotes Develop subcontractor scopes of work Prepare project bid status reports Monitor ongoing jobs for bid accuracy Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits Maintain an accurate, current database of historical data Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliersQualifications 5+ years of estimating experience, ideally with 1+ years in the dredging industry Ability to work a 40-hour work week M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., additional hours when necessary Willingness and ability to travel as required up to 10% Proficient skills in standard office software packages, Bluebeam and AdobeOther Requirements:
