The Arts Apartments at Jefferson Heights in Baton Rouge is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our established apartment complex.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of the community and equipment to identify issues or areas needing repair.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts.
Respond to resident requests as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing tools for diagnostics.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Requirements:
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
Must be able to perform on-call duties.
HVAC certification is needed.
