SAP PI/PO Consultant

You will work closely across the CIC network to delight our customers with leading edge solutions with a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction. In addition to strong collaboration across the team, you will be virtually integrated into our deep learning and knowledge program as well as employee engagement across NA. All resources in our CIC network may be requested to travel depending on specific client project needs. US Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and client relationship building at the client site, as well as subsequent travel for key milestones or project initiatives. Travel is when required.Required Technical and Professional Expertise4-10 years of ABAP& PI/PO Technical/Development experience at a client site/nearshore centers .

Strong ABAP technical skills, BRF, WebDynpro ABAP, Workflow including understanding of software development principles

Individual must be a hands on resource with strong skills in SAP ABAP/PI development. Knowledge in SAP PI version 7.4/7.5 capabilities and configuration, working knowledge of REST adapter. Experience in connecting PI to both SAP and multiple NON-SAP systems. An understanding of JAVA is required.

Needs an understanding of the overall SAP enterprise system landscape, as well as the capabilities of PI in conjunction with non-SAP systems.Expertise in Java, XSLT and ABAP mapping. SLD/ESR/ID configuration, BPM, EDI and web services.

Typically has 3 or more years consulting and/or industry experience

Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving

Hands-on programming experience

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseSoftware: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its functions. Strong hands on PO integration and middleware tools.

Exposure to Cloud Computing applications as applicable.

Hands on experience with PI/PO integration technologies in the following areas: Service Repository and Integration Directory; Data mappings, XSLT mappings, EDI and XML communications, Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs; Configuration and implementation of PI/PO adapter types (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, SOAP, WS, JMS, HTTP, REST and Proxy); Configuration, design, development, Message monitoring; adapter logs, adapter engine status, communication channels etc.

Strong working experience in ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, Rfc, IDocs, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting.

Understands S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture and related business processes, systems configuration, enhancements.

Experience in managing a complex cross system integration SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions (e.g. finance, procurement, customer relationship management) in accordance with SAP and industry best practices.

Experience of working with Onsite/Offshore model and with remote teams.

Experience in Process Automation tools including HPQC and Testing/Performance tools (LoadRunner etc)

Experience in at least 3 SAP full life-cycle implementations.
