Reliability Engineering Manager

The Reliability Engineering Manager has overall responsibility for site and engineering activity, to include all safety, quality, continuous process improvement efforts.  Responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems and customer concerns. Direct and coordinate activities of CRE’s to ensure customer contract product and services are fulfilled.Perform personnel functions, such as selection, training, evaluation, coaching, and counselingPlan, prepare and deploy departmental budget and manage processes to forecast expenses, explain variances and mitigate negative variances.Review financial statements, activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement and identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.Actively participate in the development and implementation of John Crane strategic initiatives and objectives.Drive engineering performance improvement through the use of appropriate KPI’sActively promote Environmental, Health & Safety throughout the business, ensuring EHS is a goal for all employees and ensure all EHS requirements are fulfilled in accordance with defined responsibilities.Work with cross-functional teams including customer and supplier representatives to resolve product related issues and improvement opportunities.
