Manpower Engineering is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer and Lead Auditor for a full time, direct hire position with a manufacturing company in Arcadia. This person must have at least 3 years of experience out of college and hands on understanding of ISO 9000 or 9001 among other requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: B.S. (R), Material Science (P), Other disciplines accepted with adequate experience, Lead Auditor Certification or willing to train for ASQ certification if not currently certified (R)

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in metals manufacturing (P), Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance/Quality Control policies, practices, and procedures (R), 1-3 years of experience with AS9100, ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 (R), AMS, ASTM/ASME, ANSI, Pratt & Whitney, PRI, Boeing, and other like Quality Management Systems and specification (P); 2 to 4 years of job experience in supervisory position (P); Formal training with technical writing skills (P), Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (R), Formal Training or 2 to 4 Years Job Experience in records management and Quality Control Systems (P)

Areas of Knowledge: Quality Assurance / Control, Codes, Standards, Specifications and Product Knowledge (P); Certification practices and procedures (R), Basic knowledge of both Non-Destructive and Destructive Testing practices , Specification interpretation and compliance requirements (R); Statistical Process Control Systems and SPC measurement techniques (P), Quality control methods and equipment (P); Understanding of Lean Tools and Principles (P); Quality Standards, QCI's, and SOP's (R) Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar systems application (P), Health & Safety (R) Processing and/or physical metallurgy of Ni and Co base alloys; manufacturing processes and equipment (P)
