Quality Manager

Responsible for the development, implementation and control of quality related initiatives including ISO9001 & IATF16949. In cooperation with site management, responsible for the quality control & assurance function throughout all Product Divisions and the implementation of proactive quality management systems that will position the Sika Versailles Operations as a leader in process and product quality through continuous improvement activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSystemCoordinate all quality related and total customer satisfaction programs to meet corporate objectivesInsurance of all QMS relevant procedures also including initialize and optimization of such proceduresMonitor and report ISO9001, IATF16949 and quality performance, including using the statistical analysis toolsManager roleOverall responsibilities to design, implement, and maintain Quality Policy program and establish Quality goals and objectivesEstablish all certification schedules and activities including internal and external audits as well as documentation reviewActively promote, through own action and attitude, a positive a continuous improvement cultureDirect responsibility to manage Versailles Quality DepartmentCreate a challenging and motivating culture in the plantManagement related functionProvide local site management with technical assistance required to formulate new or revised quality control procedures and systemsProvide executive management with regular reports regarding compliance status, specific action items, problems and opportunities. Monitor and report quality performance KPIs with other members of the local leadership team (LLT)Establish and meet local budgets and operational goals and objectives through Balanced Scorecard. Help to implement strategy, processes and activities related to capital budgeting and plan implementation for the Quality departmentBusiness related functionAssure the FERT release and inspection plan setup in SAP, and assist the introduction of new materials, packaging, products and processesSupport new product and raw-material launches, scale-up, and validation of products as well as optimization of products in compliance with the PCP processProvide corrective and preventive techniques to insure continuous improvement of the manufacturing process regarding quality and economy (throughput, waste, energy efficiency; together with other members of the LLT). Troubleshoot quality problems and establish root cause analysis to develop the implementation and check the sustainability of the appropriate corrective actionInitiate state-of-the-art procedures and methods where appropriateCustomer related functionSupport a national customer complaint process which satisfies our customers’ needs. Determine and improve process capabilities by using statistical quality-techniques to meet or exceed customer needsMust be familiar with product quality requirements for automotive manufacturer customers, and must be able to facilitate and/or coordinate training in continuous improvement activities to improve manufacturing and distribution processesDevelopment of processes that assure the shipment of products that meet agreed upon customer specifications
