Position: SQL Database /IT GeneralistLocation: Louisville, KY (Onsite) Customer in need of DB Generalist who will be able to manage DB changes and strong in SQL scripts (MS SQL), data import/extracts and other environment duties like scheduler jobs and general maintenance/compliance efforts
Must have 8+ years’ experience on MS SQLNice to have experience on AzureNice to have Google Cloud Platform experience

Required Skills & Technologies:

Strong proficiency in MS SQL database management - 8+ Years
Decent experience with recent versions of MS SQL
5+ Years of experience with environment duties and general maintenance which includes but not limited to scheduler jobs, compliance efforts etc.
Experience with data import/extracts
Experience with replication configuration in MS SQL
Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MS SQL
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
Knowledge of MS SQL features, such as its event scheduler
Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
Good to have working experience in Azure

Nice to have:

Working experience in Google Cloud Platform
