A leading manufacturer of cold head steel wire need to fill urgently for the position of Safety Manager. The role of this position is vital for maintaining and improving the safety, health, and environmental standards within an organization. This position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and programs that ensure a safe workplace and compliance with applicable regulations, with a primary focus on making sure that hazardous situations in the workplace are identified and eliminated, with the goal that the safety of employees/workers is ensured at all times. The EHS Manager must work closely with all departments to mitigate risks, train employees and initiate corrective measures, all while fostering a current of safety and environmental responsibility. You must be able to commute to Seymour, Indiana. Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in EHS or related field
Experience in OSHA
Fluency in English
