Get started! Division Information Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX. Requisition Summary This position will be responsible for assuring that all Dynacraft standards are maintained throughout all operations. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control, logistics engineering and production scheduling functions. The Logistics Supervisor is also responsible for tracking SAP metrics and implementing needed corrective actions. The position will report directly to the Operations Logistics Manager. Job Functions / Responsibilities · Document safety incident investigations including root cause analysis and follow-up actions. · Manage inventory control team members and activities at both Dynacraft and Dynacraft MSS locations, including conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating records. · Manage Logistics Engineering team members and activities including MSS program enhancement/implementation, lineside inventory improvements and executing improvements to progress toward a plan for every part. · Manage production scheduling team members and activities. Implement improvements that aid in scheduling efficiency and reduce the need for indirect labor. · Supervise and train the logistics, inventory control and production scheduling staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. · Identify and resolve issues that may arise in the logistics process, such as delays, errors, damages and business system inefficiencies. · Manage daily SAP metrics and implement needed corrective actions that will aid in achieving our goals. · Coordinate quarterly SAP training with production team members to assure the adherence of our business system processes. · Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, Business Relations, Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Program Management to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. · Implement and maintain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for all logistics, inventory and production scheduling function. · Train and evaluate performance of department team members; provide regular feedback; prepare employee evaluations; recommend disciplinary action as may be appropriate. Qualifications · Minimal three years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or production. · Ability to supervise, make decisions, and use independent judgement and/or action. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. · Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of SAP and standard SAP processes. · Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. · Must be able to travel daily to Dynacraft MSS facilities. · Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment when needed. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
