Job DescriptionAn Employer in the Louisville, KY area is seeking a Level 2 Electronics Technician. This person will be required to work on site 5 days a week. The shift will be Monday - Friday from 8am-4:40pm EST. The key responsibilities include the following: Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment Operate a soldering and rework station Train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment Lead a team, organize and oversee projects Perform electronic component replacement Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces Load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices Work within a team environment and use effective communication Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues Utilize company email system to send and receive messages Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion Comply with all department and company policies and proceduresSkills and Requirements3+ years of experience as an electronic repair technician with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits and equipment1+ years of experience operating a soldering and rework station1+ years of experience loading operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required1+ years of experience updating IP addresses and navigating enterprise software systems Supervisor or lead technician experience nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
