Job Description:Must pass Drug test and Background Check processed immediately by ABBTECH; you will also be required to sign and return an authorization form for the clientJOB SUMMARYDiagnoses and repairs product per instructions. Tests complete functionality of device after repair has been performed and verifies all information on work traveler and in shop floor control system matches that of device repaired. Physically and systemically stages unit in appropriate next step according to process requirements. Performs other duties as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receives specific work instruction from the repair/prescreen team leads. Tests and repairs devices according to work instructions. Performs necessary system transaction. Performs general cleaning of work area to ensure safety and discards all scrap material. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Ability to learn techniques to trouble-shoot devices and perform tests. Ability to properly use tools to disassemble and reassemble electronic assemblies. Ability to meet perform test and repair tasks to specific quality criteria as defined by business unit. Ability to perform test and repair tasks within specified time as defined by the business unit. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software. Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalentWORKING CONDITIONS Hours defined according to production shift requirements. Some overtime required. Position on production floor with reasonably controlled climate.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to stand and walk or otherwise traverse in order to be accessible to the production floor for extended periods of time. The person in this position will be required to regularly exert at least 10 lbs. of force to push, pull or otherwise move objects and may be required to carry or lift objects up to 50 lbs. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; viewing a computer terminal; and/or visual inspection of products or machinery. The person in this position may need to occasionally sit, type, climb stairs, bend, reach, kneel, or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance.
