We are looking for a Route Driver to join our team and help ensure that our deliveries are made on time and with the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a pre-trip vehicle inspection daily, drive a delivery truck to various locations, loading and unloading packages, verifying delivery information, and maintaining the vehicle in accordance with state regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, be able to work independently, have good time management skills, and have a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
Deliver packages to customers in a timely manner.
Be able to move up to 150lbs. using a hand truck or dolly.
Ensure accuracy of delivery records.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle daily.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
Be 21 years or older.
