We are a lean team that thrives on partnership with our colleagues.US Medical Ad/Promo Regulatory 2025 Intern will learn how to apply broad FDA advertising and promotion concepts related to commercial communications and activities for marketed pharmaceutical products:How You Will Contribute
Conducts in-depth regulatory research and analysis to assist Ad/Promo Regulatory team members in evaluating promotional strategies.
Develops broad understanding of responsibilities for key functions involved in or that impact Ad/Promo, including Medical, Legal, Marketing, Compliance, Labeling and Regulatory Strategy.
May present regulatory topics at Ad/Promo Regulatory staff meetings and to cross-functional teams (e.g., FDA enforcement letters).
Assists with US Medical Ad/Promo Regulatory projects as assigned.
Supports other Ad/Promo Regulatory team members as assigned
Internship Development Opportunities:
Gains regulatory knowledge of advertising and promotional regulations and guidance’s used for evaluating promotional and non-promotional materials, with oversight from the manager.
Works collaboratively with colleagues in Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Legal, Commercial, and Compliance organizations to support Ad/Promo Regulatory team members.
Creates and presents final project to US Medical audience
Job Requirements:
This position is hybrid located in Lexington, MA
Pursuing a bachelor's degree
Candidates should demonstrate the following competencies/skills:
Detail oriented
Technical experience with Microsoft Office
Planning mindset
Internship Eligibility
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd
The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program
