We are seeking a manager to lead our client's Accounts Receivable department in Central, Kentucky area. The role involves overseeing customer invoice processing, cash application, collection efforts, analysis, and reporting functions, along with support for operational needs across the company. Responsibilities: Lead team members who interface with key customers and develop relationships with internal and external customers. Develop and manage key KPIs to improve the financial performance of the business. Oversee the coordination of information collection and invoice preparation for various aspects of the company. Manage processes performed by the Collections department, including past due invoice procedures and review of doubtful accounts and bad debt reserve policies. Investigate invoice discrepancies, prepare credit memos when necessary and analyze the underlying causes to improve invoice accuracy. Manage month-end accounting processes performed by the Accounts Receivable department, including review of significant revenue accruals. Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures over Accounts Receivable processes. Review and report on key Accounts Receivable metrics tracked in the management database. Assist Collections, Legal, and Risk Management departments with information requests as needed. Participate in company-wide projects involving Accounts Receivable processes, accounting software, or operational needs, the Accounts Receivable department supports.Requirements Proven experience in full cycle billing through collection processes and operations. Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice approvals and coding. Expertise in handling customer invoices and approved invoices. Demonstrated skills in fiscal management and commercial collections. Experience in day-to-day management of finance or accounting teams. Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation. Ability to develop and implement financial strategies for improved revenue generation. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in using financial software and databases. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
