DescriptionPCSI is looking for a Production Control Clerk at site 840 Fort Knox! A 1-2 SENTENCE SUMMARY OF WHAT THEY DO IN THAT ROLE. This position will report to the Cadet Command Supervisor and is based at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some overtime, split shift and Holiday hours are required.PCSI is an AbilityOne employer - Veterans and applicants with disabilities receive priority services for interviews and hiring. Base pay of $25.21 depending upon experience.

Serving people of all abilities in their life’s journey is at the heart of what we do.What You'll Do as Production Control Clerk: Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. Compiles and records production data from documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets, followed prescribed recording procedures. Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats. Maintains files of documents used and prepared. Compiles from customer orders and other specifications detailed production sheets, or work tickets for use by production workers as guides. Performs other duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.What You'll Need to Be Successful:

High school diploma or GED. Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

Requires knowledge of and operation of windows applications, MS Word, MS Excel, Etc., and related applications.

Four years related experience and/or vocational/technical training in scheduling or planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

This is primarily a sedentary position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less.

Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.

Must have the hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.) and a personal computer.

Hearing and speech sufficient to verbally communicate in person and on the telephone.

Mobility to frequently alternate between sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to learn and retain processes/procedures that apply to daily/weekly/monthly routines and requirements.

Knowledge of construction trades.

Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.

If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
