TRIM CARPENTER NEEDED FOR PROJECT IN PIKEVILLE

Kentucky, Eastern kentucky

Vacancy caducado!

I need a SKILLED trim carpenter who can work INDEPENDENTLY and WITHOUT ME HAVING TO STAND OVER THEM for a commercial project in Pikeville. We are building a Starbucks and the job will consist of cladding the underside of a soffit with 3/4 finished panels with can lights hole sawed out. There are no extra panels and we cannot just run to Home Depot and get more so it is VERY important that this is done correctly the first time. After that the walls and sides of soffit get cladded out with T&G, which is fairly easy and not a huge deal. We set metal fry reglet corners on the corners and the only thing we 45 is the wood starting at these corners. It is not a very difficult project but you defintely need to know how to work with wood in order to do it correctly. We don't have enough material for you to mess up cuts or be learning how to do this on site so I need someone who actually knows what they are doing. Owning a Chopsaw and Table saw are desired but not mandatory. If you get out there and I need to show you how to cut a 45 on a table saw or how to use a chop saw or I get the feeling you are misrepresenting your skills in order to get a check out of me you will be asked to leave the jobsite. This is a traveling position if you continue to work with us and we build these throughout the Eastern US. The next ones are in Wapokoneta, OH; Sterling, KY; Crystal Lake, IL, and Whiteville, SC. When traveling we pay for all travel, lodging and a $50 per diem. We pay $30/hr and if you are interested please TEXT the number below with your name, experience, location and if you are wanting to travel with us after this. It is not mandatory that you travel with us to the next one but is mandatory that you are able to get to and from this jobsite.
