Maintenance Technician

As Maintenance Technician, your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility in Calvert City KY. This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!Primary Responsibilities:conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and groundsUtilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills for minor repairsPerform preventive maintenance of pumps and motorsAbility to read manuals to assist in repairsAlways maintain a clean and pristine work areaDevelop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facilityPerform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
