Title: Painter 2Location: United States-Kansas-WellingtonOther Locations: United StatesJob Number: 16325Prepares and paints surfaces of aircraft parts applying knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques, using spray painting equipment, power tools, and work aids§ Cleans, strips, sands and applies chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting§ Masks and covers surfaces not to be painted§ Maintains a safe and audit-ready work area§ Reads, interprets and applies shop planning, customer specifications military specifications and Quality guidelines and MSDS knowledge and location of sheets…same as #1§ Mixes and thins primers or paint to specified color and consistency according to standard formulas or color charts, using manual§ Paints surfaces, applying specified amount of thickness of primer, protective, decorative, or finish coatings, such as paint, lacquer, sealer, or enamel onto prepared surfaces§ Regulates controls on equipment to cure and dry paint or other coatings§ Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent§ Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with industry standards§ Monitors shelf-life items in the paint area§ Monitors paint booth and ovens to ensure accuracy and reliability§ Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:§ Thorough knowledge of:

Syteline to use Item Maintenance, SRO maintenance and Incident Maintenance
MSDS
