Position Overview
Responsible for providing support in functional areas of the Human Resources Department.
Essential Job Functions
· Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with all company procedures, rules and regulations.
· Perform pre-employment drug testing and background checks for potential new employees.
· Responsible for attendance report/end of day emails/ and warnings
· Keep records as it relates to personnel changes
· I-9 audit and filing of new hires and terminations
· Record attendance and update calendar
· Reviewing time records
· Accurate recordkeeping of personnel files.
· Assisting with employee relations
· Respond to employee inquiries, assist by communicating policies, guidelines and processes to aid in solving problems.
· Responsible for restock of HR Office inventory- PPE/Printer paper/etc
· Assist with weekly safety walkthroughs
· Assist with locker audits
· Assist with uniform delivery inquiries/repairs
· Assist with health screening process as necessary
· Work as a team player with all groups within the facility.
Additional Requirements
· Legible handwriting
· Good verbal and written communication
· Able to build relationships with employees and outside vendors
· Ability to work with confidential information, maintain confidentiality with respect to personal information.
· Ensure accuracy in projects, proofreading skills and practices great attention to detail.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Supervision Received
· Duties are performed under the general guidance of the HR Manager.
