By keeping customer information safe, our Fraud Protection Team helps deliver the exceptional services and experiences Spectrum is known for. BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONA Data Insights Analyst on the Fraud Protection Team, plays a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing strategies to prevent, detect and manage fraud within the organization. You’ll leverage existing data sources and create new analysis methods. Your work will extract meaningful information from data and provide the business with actionable recommendations to drive outcomes.WHAT OUR DATA INSIGHTS ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

Analyze current fraud detection strategies and processes to identify gaps and areas of improvement. As well as develop new strategies to prevent, detect and reduce fraudulent activities

Providing metrics definition, data visualizations, and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) requirements

Extracting, cleaning, and engineering data for analysis

Interpreting data, formulating hypotheses, and developing an analytical approach to meet business requirements

Using advanced visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel, to create reports for customers

Obtaining new reference data sources required to deliver on business needs

Using data visualization and presentations to communicate results and make recommendations

Creating analyses and dashboards that are usable, elegant, and industry-leading

Experience: Relevant technical or business work experience: 5 years or more

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Technical skills: Demonstrated proficiency of advanced analytics processes and reporting design principles; proficiency in SQL, Python, or R

Abilities: Make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure; demonstrated understanding of design and implementation practices within data visualization tools; effective written and verbal communication skills
