PC Systems Specialist

Link Solutions is seeking a PC Systems Specialist to join our Fort Leavenworth, Kansas team.Must be a US Citizen DoD Secret Clearance requiredNon-remote (relocation incentive available)The PC Systems Specialist will support the US Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6 at Fort Leavenworth. This exciting opportunity lets you contribute to cutting-edge projects while safeguarding our national security.Job Responsibilities:Provides help desk information and support: Determines the cause of the problem and offers temporary solutions if the problem cannot be resolved within an appropriate timeframe.Installs, sets up, relocates, configures, troubleshoots, and supports PC/server hardware and software: Installs and configures software upgrades; configures and performs tuning of operating systems.Oversees support tickets for Training Management Directorate (TMD) users.Reports directly to Senior Leadership regarding ongoing projects and tasks.Directs and leads multiple projects: Includes planning, design, organization, and implementation, while providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance.Coordinates support with the local Network Enterprise Center.Responds to user inquiries and requests: Provides technical assistance on PC systems, related hardware, and software, and standard applications.Installs and maintains specialized software: Performs setup functions, develops associated file structures, report formats, and input forms; ensures file security; performs data entry to populate associated databases; documents procedures.Implements and designs an organization-wide set of standards for the implementation of future and existing information systems.Provides on-call support outside of core work hours for unscheduled events or scheduled service interruptions.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
