The Lawrence Humane Society is hiring a full time Pet Resource Center Counselor! Pet Resource Center Counselors wear many different hats, from intaking wayward animals and reuniting the public with their pets, vaccinating animals to help them stay healthy, to helping pet parents keep their pets by offering a variety of resources. We show compassion to those who have to find their animals new homes, perform welfare checks on animals who might need a little extra TLC, and work hard to be a resource for our community through a variety of programs, and out-of-the-box creative thinking.
No matter the hat, our goal remains the same: to nurture the human-animal bond by providing shelter, care, and advocacy for homeless and abused animals!
