kitchen Assistant and Cleaner needed for Student Center at KU.
Our popular student center is looking for an Events Assistant, to help out with our many events, dinners and building maintenance.

The Events Assistant will be responsible for:
-ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂAssisting with basic food prep such as peeling and cutting up vegetables.
-Serving and cleaning during our large special events.
-ÂÂThis job also includes taking down chairs/tables and clearing up once the event is over.
-ÂÂDeep cleaning and organizing of kitchen and building spaces.
Approximately 15 Hours needed weekly:
Fridays: 10am-3pm
Friday evenings 7:30 pm-10:30 pm.Â
- Approximately 6 additional hours during the week - depending on events scheduleÂ
(Full schedule provided ahead of time).Â
Required qualifications and skills:
1.ÂÂÂÂMust be able to work weekends and evenings
2.ÂÂÂÂAble to follow instructions and work as part of a team
3.ÂÂÂÂComfortable working in a fast-paced environment
4.ÂÂÂÂAbility to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
5.ÂÂÂÂBe reliable and punctual with timing.
6.ÂÂÂÂBe flexible and available for extra hours periodically throughout the year.
