The PC Support Technicianwill support the US Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6 at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Providehelp desk information and support; determinethe cause of the problem; offertemporary solutions if the problem cannot be resolved within an appropriate timeframe.
Responds to user inquiries and requests and provides technical assistance on PC systems, related hardware and software, and standard applications.
Install, set up or relocate, configure, troubleshoot, and support PC/server hardware and software.
Install and configure software upgrades; configure and perform tuning of operating systems to enhance PC performance.
Install and configure network interfaces and Internet connections
Diagnose network cable and configuration problems.
Installs and maintains specialized software, including performing setup functions.
Coordinate support with the local Network Enterprise Center.
Services support ticketsfor Training Management Directorate (TMD) users.
Implement and design an organization-wide set of standards for the implementation of future and existing information systems.
Provide on-call support outside of core work hours for unscheduled events or scheduled service interruptions.

US Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (willing to sponsor the right candidate).
IAT Level ICertification (CompTIAA+ CE, Sec+ CE, equivalent or higher).
Two (2+) years ofrelated experience.
Windows workstation systems administration training.
Have and maintain CE certificate inMS Server 2016, Server 2019, Windows 10, orMicrosoft Modern Desktop
Preferred:
Secret Security Clearance
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems,Computer Science, etc.
IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CEequivalentor higher).
Problem solver and troubleshooterwho thrives in resolvingcomplex problems.
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
