Job Title: TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Technician to assist with cleaning sand off the floors at our industrial/manufacturing plant in Waterloo. This role involves using industrial vacuums, floor sweepers, brooms, and various cleaning solutions to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Responsibilities
Operate industrial vacuums, floor sweepers, and other cleaning equipment.
Clean and maintain floors by removing sand and other debris.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment in hot (90 degrees) and dirty locations.
Be flexible with work hours based on plant operation schedules.
Work in various environments, including dark and dirty areas, and at different heights.
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in labor, farming, construction, or landscaping.
Ability to work in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
Capable of working in hot and dirty environments.
Comfortable working at various heights and in confined spaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction, landscaping, septic, foundry, general labor, sanitation, or concrete work.

You will be working in heavy manufacturing settings, climbing ladders, and entering large tanks. The area will be dark and dirty, requiring the ability to work at various heights. Typical workdays are 8-10 hours long, including two Saturdays per month. Work shifts include 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday night through Friday morning. Please note that cell phone usage and smoking are prohibited during the shift.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
