Candidate must have an Bachelor degree in either Engineering or related technical field, (3) years minimum of process safety with the continuing desire to become a PSM subject matter expert. This position will report into the site Environmental, Health and Safety Manager
Major responsibilities involve the ongoing development, implementation, and improvement of the facility PSM system based on the OSHA PSM standard and EPA’s Risk Management Plant (RMP) regulations.
Scope includes oversight of Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for the plant; serve as PSM subject matter expert and conduct training regarding PSM fundamentals, procedures, and requirements; leads site incident investigations related to PSM concerns: audit all PSM elements to ensure compliance and best practices; develop management systems and procedures related to PSM, RMP regulations.
