A custom fabrication company in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a Secondary Team Lead to join their growing team! As a Secondary Team Lead, you will ensure the production of company products meets company and/or customer standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities:
Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly lead the cleaning department.
Plan and schedule workflow for the work area according to established manufacturing sequences.
Participate in planning meetings, recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements.
Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization, and quality of product.
Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, records, documentation, such as time cards, quality records, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent with two to five years related experience.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.
Ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, hand and power tools.
