PRICE ELECTRIC is seeking a Senior Accountant to work in the Robins Headquarters assisting the CFO with financial report preparation, period end closing, record maintenance and other accounting and finance activities. This position is immersed in broad construction accounting responsibilities and has great career growth opportunity as the company continues to grow nationally. Primary responsibilities include:
Aid in the compilations, analysis and reporting of financial data.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual period end closings. Support preparation of financial statements and other external financial reports.
Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax filings.
Ensure Project Accounting is accurate and timely. Lead project setup and maintenance within construction management system.
Generate reports that track workforce, financial KPI's, over/under billings, and other performance management information.
Maintain records of accounts receivable including initiation of billings, customer receipts, customer maintenance, bank deposits and reconciliations. Assist with collections, accounts payable entries and credit card reconciliations.
To knowledgably perform accounting and finance responsibilities timely and accurately, qualified candidates must possess the successful equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or at least five years of experience working with general ledgers and job costing. Construction accounting experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
Advanced accounting software and Microsoft Excel proficiency
Analytical skills to identify improvements, solve issues and plan thoroughly

Strong communication and math skills
Ability to work well with all employee levels to provide and gather information
