DescriptionCorteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst, based in Johnston, IA.Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Johnston IA. In this role, you will use your supply chain expertise to analyze available supply/demand used to create and maintain production runs and oversee product quality and specifications in accordance with company quality guidelines of varietal crops (soybeans and wheat). This position will support production locations through creation of production runs which aid in balancing production demand with available capacity. In addition, this role will lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness. This position will assist with training production locations on systems and scheduling processes, manage work instructions and ensure SAP and other production system data is updated to support seed production and supply chain processes. This role will also gain an understanding of other planning processes such as tag formatting / printing requirements, production scheduling optimization, monthly inventory reconciliation and direct material planning. You will support North America production locations and third-party contract conditioners to meet Pioneer and Multi-Channel Seed demand while minimizing regret.What You'll Do:

Support production locations through evaluation of available supply to create production runs which will provide visibility of needs for conditioning, packaging and treating.

Oversight of assigned varieties from end to end, including supply, demand, and quality characterization.

Ensure demand is fulfilled based on priorities to meet current segment targets or quarterly objectives. Consider options to optimize asset utilization and make decisions regarding what supply to utilize to fulfill demand. Monitor KPI's to measure performance toward objectives

Assist with training production locations on systems and scheduling processes, manage IOMS work instructions and ensure SAP system is updated to support SPSC processes

Gain an understanding of other planning processes such as tag formatting / printing requirements, production scheduling optimization, maintaining outside seed requests for research/testing and direct material planning

Validate data integrity of SAP and applicable production systems daily and to accommodate changes to business processes

Provide direction, support and training to production locations and 3rd party contract conditioners on production and system needs

Lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness

QualificationsWhat Skills You Need:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Agricultural related fields or equivalent amount of education and experience

2+ years of agriculture business, supply chain or operations experience

Working knowledge or ability to learn Excel, Access and SAP systems

Demonstrated ability to interact and work closely with peers in a team environment

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Strong analytical skills

Strong financial acumen

High level of issue identification, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to influence and coordinate effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
