This position operates bulk material handling equipment to facilitate the movement of product between the storage building and the processing building for the REGEN facility. Working inside and outside with exposure to temperature extremes, weather, dirt, and dust, potentially working long periods while sitting. Direct truck drivers on the safe delivery of product inside of the building. Workplace hazards exist that require safety precautions including dust, truck traffic and material handling equipment.What you will do
Operates wheel loader to supply adequate materials to the processing line.
Effectively communicate with delivery drivers and provide direction on unloading requirements, including documentation of receipts.
Performs daily inspections of wheel loader including documentation.
Performs daily safety and maintenance checks: fluid and fuel levels, tires, safety equipment, lights, etc.
Keeps wheel loader neat, clean, and operating properly.
Safely fuel wheel loader as needed per company policy.
Performs housekeeping activities per schedule for area and wheel loader.
Clear and effective communications with operations staff and delivering carriers
Education Requirements
High School Diploma Required
Preferred Experience
3-5 years’ experience operating a wheel loader inside a warehouse facility – similar to a John Deere 524P.
Previous experience operating a forklift or the ability to become fork lift certified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive work group.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision while providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to work inside and outside with exposure to temperature extremes.
Ability to use a calculator and basic math competency.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, climb up and down from tractor cab frequently.
Work effectively in extreme outdoor and indoor climates - dust, cold, heat.
Work safely in all areas of the facility – exposure to noise and heavy equipment.
Follow all site safety requirements – mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE’s) and compliance with facility cell phone policy usage.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Willingness to operate a forklift on processing line as needed
