Job Title: Quality/Production ClerkJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality/Production Clerk for a short-term position on the 1st shift in Eldridge, Iowa. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with room for growth and development within the booming steel industry.Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Manage inventory records and ensure data integrity.
Assist with quality assurance processes.
Operate various office equipment, including PCs, printers, photocopiers, and scanners.
Accurately transpose data from manually recorded records to Excel templates.
Collaborate with team members and work independently to complete tasks.
Take the initiative to ask questions and seek clarification when necessary.
Routinely move throughout the shop and office area to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Forklift certification is advantageous.
