Accessible Home Health Care has been a leading provider of private duty, in home care services in the Des Moines Metro area since 2008.
We provide quality, long term services to clients such as assistance with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation to appointments, medication assistance and care management. Clients are located in the Des Moines Metro area, in Polk and eastern Dallas counties.
Many home health aides (caregivers) and clients have been with the agency for over five years.
Each caregiver position is catered to the availability of the worker, and shifts are based on the needs and requests of our clients: shifts include:
part-time hours
full-time hours
daytime
weekend
overnights
evenings
A caregiver’s schedule is developed, so that it fits both the client needs and the caregiver’s availability, and thus the schedule becomes an ongoing routine.
Caregiver qualifications include:
One or more years verifiable experience in one on one care giving with elderly persons
CNA training desirable but not required
Excellent employment and personal references
An understanding of the unique needs of chronically ill elderly persons
A willingness to be flexible with the changing needs of clients
Transportation to client homes in the Des Moines metro area
Ability to communicate effectively both with verbal and written skills
