Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that all products and components meet specified parameters by performing various process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing. You will work with lab equipment, conduct testing, and document results to maintain the highest quality standards.Responsibilities
Test finished products and components using lab equipment to ensure they meet specified parameters.
Perform multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing functions.
Set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment.
Receive, document, and report batch testing results into specified systems.
Perform physical property testing using instrumentation.
Provide independent oversight of lab processes, verifying compliance with company standards and policies.
Communicate and report quality results to supervisors and managers.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Chemistry, HPLC, GC, GMP, and quality assurance/control.
Experience with biochemical testing, pipetting, and performing dilutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related life science field highly preferred.
If no degree, at least 2+ years of experience in a production/quality lab setting.
High School diploma required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HPLC/GC highly preferred.
Work EnvironmentThe position operates in a manufacturing/plant environment, with frequent lab operations and interactions with various departments. The work shift is from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible Saturday coverage during busy seasons (March-May). Training will be conducted on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift. The lab environment includes exposure to wet, humid conditions, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and outdoor weather. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, handling objects/tools, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The dress code includes a jumpsuit uniform provided by the company and closed-toed shoes.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.75/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
