Job Title: Design EngineerJob DescriptionPartner with structural engineers to design and model products for customers, including steel structures for agricultural and industrial applications. Products include catwalks, towers, temporary storage, and accessories. Responsibilities
Partner with structural engineers to design and model products for customers.
Create blueprints and BOM (bill of material) for offsite manufacturing.
Work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations.
Collaborate with the team on project deadlines.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, and Creo/ProE.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in design, drafting, or creating detailed drawings.
Work EnvironmentSmall office with 15 employees, looking to add 2 more design engineers. Designer Engineers will work closely with other engineers and drafters in a family atmosphere that avoids a corporate feel. The environment is laid-back with flexibility in working hours, as long as tasks are completed. Incentives include weekly and monthly bonuses, with significant room for growth. The company pays 100% of employees' healthcare and offers a 401k match up to 4%.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
