Corporate Security Officer

As a Corporate Security Officer at Wellmark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of company assets, facilities, and personnel. This position requires conducting regular patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents with a calm and decisive approach. Serving as a visible presence on-site, you will help deter potential threats and foster a secure environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external emergency personnel to maintain operational readiness and uphold company security standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned security professional with a strong background in corporate security, law enforcement, and/or military service. You possess expertise in close protection, risk assessment, and emergency response, with the ability to remain composed and exercise sound judgment under pressure. Key attributes include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information. Proficiency in defensive tactics, familiarity with emergency medical protocols, and a deep understanding of modern security technologies are essential. A Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation or equivalent is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic security environments.
