Summary
As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will ensure consistent compliance with civil, structural, and architectural engineering standards, policies, and procedures, alongside regulatory standards.
Proposing recommendations for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance performance, and identifying acceptable risk tolerance for build projects.
Provide necessary support in civil, structural, and architectural engineering required to maintain safety and make engineering recommendations that boost performance, cost-efficiency, and schedule adherence.
Support civil, structural, and architectural engineering deliverables in multiple capital projects simultaneously.
Project Types:
Supporting Cargill Incorporated's CAPEX projects (plant expansions). You will not be part of the project team, rather a horizontal in as an SME to help review the front end of projects, ensure Cargill’s electrical standards are aligned as well as validating any complex deliverables that the project team wants a separate set of eyes on.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
P.E. License
Minimum of 5-8+ years of related work experience
Experience with complex and multi-disciplinary engineering projects
Experience with Petro/Chemical or Power Generation Facilities
Frequent interaction with internal and external personnel often requiring coordination between departments.
Professional Engineering License in Structural or Civil Engineering discipline
Experience with IBC, ASCE, OSHA, ACI, AISC and Process Industry Practices (PIP)
Ability to evaluate and select engineering solutions and technologies
Ability to work in a remote environment with virtual teams
