Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a contract for a Staff Accountant position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role is crucial in our client as it involves providing financial support and analysis that has a direct impact on our business decisions. This role will be working within an accounting team for a growing business in Cedar Rapids. Responsibilities: Provide essential financial assistance and sophisticated analysis Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports Oversee the recording of financial transactions and upkeep systematic records Carry out reconciliations of bank statements, cash accounts, and ledgers Aid with the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable Supervise and manage the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of recorded transactions Contribute to audits and assist in resolving audit findings Prepare and submit tax documents, ensuring punctual submissions Implement and maintain administrative and financial procedures to improve operational efficiency Carry out special projects as required.Apply today if this position sounds like something that aligns with your skill set and previous experience.
