Overview: Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a LPN to join the team at Mill Pond in Ankeny, Iowa. We are

currently hiring for:
  1. A

    Full Time, Evening schedule in LTC (64 or 80 hours a pay period - your choice!)
  • The Clinical Administrator (DON) has been with PHS 12+ years!
  • These are two week block schedules
  • They include an every other weekend
Shifts:

AM/Day = 6a-2:30p

PM/Evening = 2p-10:30p

NOC/Overnight = 10p-6:30a

About Mill Pond:

Near I-35 in Ankeny, Iowa, Mill Pond sits on five acres south of First Street, just off of Delaware Avenue with convenient access to all Polk County amenities. A complete array of senior living options are available under Mill Pond's roof. The community was acquired by PHS in 1997.

This community offers the following care options: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Care Center, and Transitional/Short Term Care.

In close proximity to Ames, Altoona and Newton, IA.

Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the provision and monitoring of high quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. Qualifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
