We are currently looking for a candidate for a part-time position as a hatchery technician. This job consists of managing a bobwhite quail breeding flock, gathering and washing eggs daily, cleaning and washing equipment, setting and hatching eggs, and boxing and shipping of eggs. We hatch all year round weekly to bi-weekly in warmer months and less often in winter months. Past employee in this position worked 20-35 hours a week. Could lead to more or less hours, can be flexible, but we do need consistent schedule from applicant.
Also we have opening for gamebird technician position. This candidate would be in charge of choring and monitoring birds daily, catching and moving birds, cleaning and disinfecting pens. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, this job is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting. Past employees have worked 30-50 hours a week.
