Are you looking for a position where you get to work with a strong team?If so, The Department of Extension Information Technology with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach seeks qualified candidates for the Systems Administrator position!The Systems Administrator will assist the Senior Systems Administrator with day-to-day operations. This will include using MECM for OS and software deployment on desktops and laptops, server setup (Windows & Linux), and firewall requests. In addition, the position will provide third-line support to the IT Hotline.The Systems Administrator will assist the Senior Systems Administrator with complex IT problems and troubleshooting. This individual may also assist with pricing technology solutions. They may also work with the Network Engineer on issues related to the 100+ remote offices. Collaboration with central IT on troubleshooting high-impact systems may also be required.The successful candidate will have exceptional teamwork and organizational skills, along with strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to manage and prioritize complex projects and multiple deadlines, make independent judgments, and take initiative on projects is essential.
