Looking to hire a seasoned Sr. Designer for contract to work on the robotics dept. Please find below the project scope:
- Q1 and Q2 will be primarily in support mode.
- Print updates, tolerance analysis to see if a problem is due to a design issue or due to manufacturing. That is ad hoc work. Working on something different everyday.
- Q3/Q4 will be picking up new projects.
- More focused on tasks around creating concepts, taking existing concepts and trying to make them more manufacturable.
- Working directly with an engineer on the team. It will be 2 engineers teamed up on the project.
- Exposure to NX or SolidWorks
- Mechanical Background- if they can demonstrate that they understand GD&T, tolerance analysis
- Medical Device experience Preferred instrument experience
- FEA exposure is a BONUS
