IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR FABRICATORS IN SOUTH BENDDescription:
South Bend company is searching for a sheet metal fabricator.
The sheet metal equipment in the facility is not very high-tech. They have various machinery in the sheet metal fab department including: press brakes, shears, notcher, and punch presses. They are willing to train someone, but would like someone with sheet metal exposure.
Job Duties:
Operating various machines in the fab department (presses, shears, etc.)
Measuring accurately using a tape measurer
Lifting 25-50 pounds consistently
Using quality instruments to ensure standards of fabricated sheet metal
Location:
South Bend, IN
Shift and Hours:
1st Shift
6am to 2:30pm
Monday through Friday - working OT currently on Saturdays
Pay:
$18/hr for anyone that is needing to be trained extensively on machinery
$20-$22/hr for someone that is experienced and can hit the ground running (would be ideal)
Skills:
Experience operating presses or shears
Ability to accurately use a tape measurer
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds consistently
