In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing commissioning plans for guaranteed energy savings projects that maximizes energy savings and balances environmental comfort.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
BDG Cx Engineer will be contributing team member to system design early in the project development
Work with design engineers to develop sequences of operation
Monitor project during construction
Commission the project’s MEP systems and BAS systems with field control technicians and service startup personnel to deliver a fully-functioning project that provides the maximum amount of energy savings.
Will work with the project measurement and verification specialist in turning over the project to be audited for continued energy savings.
Reports to the Director of Operations
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5-8 years minimum experience in the construction industry required related to the commissioning of MEP systems
Understanding HVAC and control systems design
Great communication skills in dealing with job site issues, engineers and customers is mandatory
Candidate must work well within a Team
Strong computer skills
