An award-winning architecture and engineering firm is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team!Job Description:
Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment
Conduct field investigations when needed, produce field reports with detailed sketches
Perform duties with multiple projects within the established schedules and budgets
Work on a wide variety of project types, scales and complexity
Will work on projects in heavy industry, metals, chemical/petrochemical or environmental projects:
Breaker and starter sizing
Conduit and cable sizing
2-D orthographic design drawing development
Single line and network diagram development
Meeting with Clients
Electrical systems installation review during construction for general compliance with construction documents
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Five (5) or more years relevant work experience in the industrial sector
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE design complying with industry standards is a plus
AutoCAD and/or Revit skills preferred, but not mandatory; Arc-flash study experience a plus
Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites
