Description The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare organization in the Kokomo area to add a Patient Service Representative to their team. Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm on a rotating schedule varying 15-30 mins each week.Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Greet and assist patients: This includes welcoming patients upon arrival, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate areas within the facility.
Manage patient information: This involves collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, updating patient records, and ensuring the accuracy of all data.
Schedule appointments and make reminders: This includes scheduling appointments based on patient needs and doctor availability, sending appointment confirmations, and making reminder calls to patients.
Process payments and manage accounts: This involves collecting co-pays and deductibles, processing payments, assisting patients with financial questions, and potentially handling overdue accounts.
Address patient inquiries and concerns: This includes listening to patient concerns, answering questions to the best of their ability, and directing patients to appropriate resources or medical staff when necessary.
Requirements
Medical Software experience a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
