In this entry level role, you'll assist in creating / routing pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members' prescriptions. In addition to having impact on a great team, you'll also discover the career opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 6 leader. This role is challenging. You'll need to have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing prescriptions for other pharmacy support staff or for our members. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members' health and well-being.
Primary Responsibilities:- Prepare packages or shipments for distribution to our members'
- Verify member data and submit orders in computer system
- Contact members to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order
- Manage supply inventory and ordering
- Respond to service calls for repair of inserters, printers and postage meters
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Ability to work 5:30 am - 2 pm Sunday - Thursday (Subject to change due to business needs) and work occasional Saturday shifts during periods of high volume
- You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment center
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Standing for 8 hours / day
