Description of Responsibilities
The Installation Technician is responsible for the delivery, assembly, installation, and education of the home accessibility equipment including but not limited to stair lifts, patient lifts, vehicle lifts, ramps, wheelchair lifts and related products.

Responsibilities of the Installation Technician include the following:
1. Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with clients.
2. Deliver and install home medical equipment to clients in the states of IN, Western OH, Southern MI, and Eastern IL to include but
not limited to, mobility and accessibility products, stair lifts, ramps, vehicle lifts and wheelchair lifts. Occasional overnight trips.
3. Demonstrate and explain Home Medical Equipment (HME) in the client’s home and obtain appropriate documentation.
4. Perform service requests as needed, as well as rotational on-call weekend services according to the schedule.
5. Provide assistance to the Installation Manager as needed.
6. Repairing delivered equipment in the field and in the warehouse.
7. Loading and unloading of trucks.
8. Checking deliveries received in the warehouse to ensure orders are correct and no damage to deliveries.
9. Logging complaints from patients and facilitating follow up.
10. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles; keeping it stocked with needed supplies for day-to-day activities.
11. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
12. Complete bi-weekly truck inventories and assist with warehouse inventory as needed.
13. Participate in training classes and in-services when provided.
14. Participate in company committees and meetings when requested.
15. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
16. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Installation Manager.
17. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the Installation Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Mechanical Inclination and aptitude in tool use
3. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
4. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
5. Drug free workplace
